The SMART Ti Persimmon Driver incorporates a full-face titanium insert to achieve a Coefficient of Restitution (C.O.R.) limit not yet recorded on a wood driver. The C.O.R. on the SMART Ti Driver is 3% higher as tested by the USGA.
The SMART Ti Persimmon Driver maintains a deep center of gravity that translates to greater Gear Effect than a modern metal driver. Gear Effect is the self-correcting spin imparted to the ball when hit on the toe or heel, bringing mis-hits back in line.
The SMART Ti Persimmon Driver is offered in two lofts: the xsfx model (11 Degrees) that matches the loft needed to maximize the distance for players with swing speeds who need stiff and extra-stiff flex shafts, and the rafx model (14 Degrees) matching the loft needed to maximize distance for swing speeds that require a regular and A-flex shaft.
The driver is stained a Mahagony Red and is fitted with an aluminum sleeve called the Density Balancing Energy Sleeve that distributes weight lower in the head improving launch characteristics. The size of the SMART Ti Persimmon Driver is 250cc.
