The Niblick DC is the new standard in fairway wood design
At the center of the Niblick DC is the V-shaped steel soleplate that effectively lowers the center of gravity lower than any metal club. This extremely low center of gravity gives every golfer of any skill and experience level easier launches from all lies. The Niblick DC uses this V-shaped plate with a low-profile head shape which gives shots a slightly higher trajectory.
The "DC" stands for "Dished Crown" in order to give the golfer a different look at address, one that gives you the confidence for the shots you enjoy hitting. This dished crown allowed Louisville Golf to lower the center of gravity even lower, now up to 79% of the head's total weight is below the equator of the ball. This low center of gravity treats the golfer to a shot making experience that metals cannot provide - mainly a metal fairway wood cannot give you this low a center of gravity because metals are homogenous, so the variance in weight from steel to tungsten is nowhere near greater than the difference in weight Persimmon and the heavy stainless steel, V-shaped soleplate used in the Niblick DC.
